Today I will tell you about my favorite city, as there are so many cities in India iI like so much but, this is the one I like the most!In fact, I fell in love with the city called Chandigarh. It is capital of two major Indian state- Punjab and Haryana. It is the first city in India to implement smoke-free laws in the year 2007. There are so many attraction #madeofgreat in the city which will make you fall in love with the clean and beautiful environment of Chandigarh, especially warm feeling of the punjabi people. The picturesque beauty of the city makes it one of the most beautiful city of India.
The National Highway takes you to the city which is broad and well maintained, it hardly took 4 hours from Delhi to reach Chandigarh if you drive yourself. Buses usually take 5-6 hours. You can find easy and frequent flights from different cities all around the country to the city.
Inside Chandigarh city traffic rules are strict and well managed, I personally feel public is aware too. That’s how administration of the city makes its people responsible and city well managed. The city is divided into various different sectors and roads are clean and well planned. Pedestrians and sideways are also clean and maintained.
It is the first planned city of our country and is spread of 114 square meter approximately. The city is designed by a French architect named Le Corbusier. It is well designed city which makes its management easy yet effective. There are so many other destinations and hot-spots designed inside the city like Rose garden, Sector 17, Sukna lake, and many more. The network of roads in Chandigarh is called the 7V’s. The city is close to nature and tree plantation is properly done and managed, It doen’t make you feel living inside the concrete jungle.
The city is well connected with airways and roadways from all around the country. It took 4 hours drive from the capital Delhi to reach in the city, which is convenient. Tricity- the neighboring cities of Chandigarh such as Panchkula and Mohali are well connected and called the “Tricity”. Sector 17 is the most attractive place and pedestrian’s paradise is well connected. This is hot destination for everyone for weekends. I houses exotic restaurants, pubs, discos, clothing stores etc.
Let’s plan a visit sometime and experience the great.
Of course, there is something that need to become great, you just need to rectify what is #madeofgreat!
